The Room In The Tower by E F Benson

In this edge-of-your-seat episode, Tony Walker takes on E.F. Benson's haunting story "The Room in the Tower." The narrator, an unnamed young man, is plagued by a recurring nightmare in which he visits a friend's foreboding home, inhabited by a changing roster of silent and grim figures. Foremost among them is the unsettling Mrs. Stone, who persistently assigns him a room in the tower, a room that fills him with indescribable dread.

As the people in the dream grow older and stranger over the years, the terror continues to twist and turn. But the real question remains: what truly lurks in the room in the tower, and why does it inspire such fear?
