Number 13 by M R James

Listen to Number 13 by M. R. James

Number 13 by M. R. James is a classic ghost story audiobook, read in full by Tony Walker, in which an unlucky room number in a Danish hotel brings a very particular kind of trouble. This Victorian-era antiquarian ghost story from the master of the English ghost story is set in the town of Viborg, in Denmark, where a visiting scholar finds that the room beside his own is not always where it should be. Number 13 is unlucky for some, and the full story is here for you to listen to.

This reading was commissioned by Gavin Critchley, who paid for my time so that everyone could enjoy the story. Thank you, Gavin!
