Live Storytelling in a Haunted Castle?

So, you know I went to see Robert Lloyd Parry doing his live storytelling and I'm going to see a Edwyrdian Tales do a live ghost stories for Christmas...

And you know I used to do ghost hunt weekends in haunted castles...

What about a ghost story evening, overnight in a haunted castle somewhere in England/Scotland or even Ireland?

Not sure if Charleville in Co. Offaly is still operational, but there's Castle Stuart near Inverness and some places near me, possibly Muncaster Castle. But if you know of any futher south.

Just an idea. The stripped down version is just me, but my dream version is a weekend with Jasper leStrange, maybe Ian Gordon, maybe even Robert Lloyd-Parry himself.

The problems are viability: getting enough people to cover the costs and pay the storytellers and that is related to geography.

It would be inevitably at least £200 per person per night and maybe (depending on venue maybe more) which ideally would include food in that price.

You know me and my enthusiasms!

Just trying to work out the degree of interest there might be in this

Best,

Tony

We are planning a trip in a few years and ghost stories in a castle is one of our biggest goals. Hopefully you find enough people to get started and are going strong when we get there!

It's a weird thing and possibly fashion related. Back when I was doing this over 20 years ago, I had one of these events every weekend and never had a problem filling them. Okay they weren't ghost story events they were ghost hunts, but they were pure entertainment. I was just testing the water really
